Earthquake in Taiwan exposured bug and problem of msn china again. Of course, this earthquake blocked connecting to oversea webs not only msn.com.cn. because yahoo china and ebay.com.cn have been defeated by local Chinese webs, where will msn china go become one focus in China IT industry.

In fact MSN China had one excellent start before:

At first msn china practiced quite new strategy comparing to other global webs in China market, MSN made big cooperative group with many Chinese medium partners, in this way msn saved investment fund, it saved time to investigate China market.  At beginning msn china had large amount of contents, probably msn china is only one web attracting huge number of visitors without advertisement.

Second msn space is another excellent strategy, from customer’s demand msn china designed creative and personalized blog space, which allure almost all best blogers in China. Today msn space design become important sample for other blog webs. Such large number of space blogers made great contribution for msn china.

Third such cooperative strategy with Chinese partners produced one good sum of advertisement income for msn china.

We can say, within two years msn china made quite good result in China market.

However we do not know why and from what day suddenly msn space appeared large size of advertisement in each blog space, it was hard to open msn space, day by day msn blogers had to leave msn space. Since then msn china lost huge number of customers.

As we know, msn china had one excellent start in China market, msn china had huge number of long term of clients of msn instant tool, and it had large number of space blogers, it has excellent brand Microsoft. With so much advantages as technology, investment fund, brand and talent, msn china could become one best web in China.

Why msn china lost attraction for Chinese customers today?  We do not know what happen inside msn china. We only know msn china has serious problem in China market.

Where msn china will go next step?  Let’s forecast.

1.     Changing top management team

Most of global companies adopted such strategy such yahoo china, ebay china. However it worked nothing. We guess Microsoft headquarter do not believe such strategy can solve trouble.

2.     Selling msn china or find local partner

This is best way to select for Microsoft headquarter now. We believe Microsoft has already looking for some partners.

However in such way Microsoft has to donate msn china to local partner, we know that yahoo donated yahoo china to alibaba, ebay donated ebay.com.cn to tom.

3.     Inviting Chinese consultant to solve problem

Microsoft know almost all global consultant firms, no global consultant firms can solve trouble for msn china, because only Chinese consultant understand China market. We are not sure whether Microsoft will accept our suggestion.

Wish msn china overcome trouble soon.
